About Henleaze Concert Society

Chairman: Roger Huckle
Hon. Secretary: Penny Rawlings

The Society‚Äôs 2017-18 season features music from across the centuries, from 17th century Baroque gems to Copland’s jazz-inspired Clarinet Concerto, written for Benny Goodman in the 1940s.

This season’s pre-concert talks will be given by the Bristol-based musicologist, composer and organist David Bednall. They are free for ticket holders and give a fascinating insight into the music that will be performed.

We look forward to seeing you at the concerts and you can be assured of a warm welcome.

All performances take place in Trinity-Henleaze United Reformed Church in Waterford Road, Henleaze, Bristol. This building is characterised by warm acoustics, a friendly atmosphere, and comfortable seating.

We hope that we shall have the pleasure of welcoming you to our Henleaze Concerts.
